Screws specifications
Nitrated screws
Nitrated with N2 gas (nitrated depth from 0.6 to 0.8 mm)
Surface hardness up to 950-1000 HV
Applications: General purpose screw appropriate for most of applications, better be used for polymers with no glass fiber or at most 10% glass fiber content.
Bi-metallic screws
Casted alloy with 45% Tungsten carbide.
Surface hardness 52-62 HRC
Applications: General plastics and engineer plastics with no more than 15% glass fiber. Can be used for some specific materials including iron powder or ceramic powder.
Full-hardened screws (Hot work tool steel)
Made from Japanese or high-quality Chinese steel
Quenched and annealed
Surface hardness 62-65 HRC
High toughness, hardness and wear resistance
Applications: Engineering plastics with up to 70% glass fiber. Proper for some specific materials including iron powder or ceramic powder.
Special screws
Customized for special purposes including PVC, Silicone molding, BMC, high-transparent pars and optical lenses.
